March In March
This month Corps Security has taken part in Combat Stress’s #MarchinMarch fundraising initiative.
March in March involves walking 10 miles over the month of March. Mileage can be walking 10 miles in one day, spread across the month or by running 10 miles as fast as possible! All funds raised go to Combat Stress’s life changing mental health treatment for veterans. The demand for these services remains high.
A number of Corps Security colleagues up and down the country have taken part in the challenge. Our CEO, Mike Bullock and Managing Director Paul Lotter both completed their ten mile challenge last week. We also had a team of colleagues complete their ten miles with a socially distanced walk through the quiet streets of London.
Scott Hudson, Commercial Manager at Corps Security has taken the challenge to a whole new level. Scott is running 100 miles in March. He has run 94.5 miles at the time this blog was written and he’s saving the final five and a half miles to complete the challenge today. He has also raised over £700 almost tripling his goal of raising £250. John Ford has also far exceeded the 10 mile challenge and has run 78 miles this month.
Corps Security is matching all funds raised by colleagues during this March in March challenge. Combat Stress is a charity which we proudly support.
Well done to everyone that has taken part in this great physical challenge and raised money for Combat Stress. If you’d like to show your support and donate please visit: https://events.combatstress.org.uk/fundraisers/social/marchinmarch
